IKEA vs. Church: “As I tucked into my lovely bit of gazpacho soup (cultural relevance in IKEA, wow!) I thought, ‘Man, these guys have thought of everything. IKEA has constructed a store that you can, quite literally, stay in all day with no problems at all. Everything you need is there, there is no reason to venture outside of the store. It is the most complete shopping experience I think I have ever experienced.’ Then I thought about my experience of church. It seems like the end all and be all of a lot of churches it to provide you with a similar sort of experience.”
